A teenage dirt bike rider was involved in a serious crash in Calabogie on Saturday afternoon, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Calabogie Road, near the intersection of Black Donald Lake Road. The 17-year-old rider was reportedly travelling at a high speed when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a ditch.
Emergency services were immediately called to the scene and the rider was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The extent of his injuries is currently unknown.
