The CP Holiday Train made its annual stop in Chatham on Friday, bringing festive cheer and support for local food banks.
The brightly lit train, adorned with holiday decorations, rolled into the Chatham VIA Rail station to the delight of the gathered crowd. The event, organized by Canadian Pacific Railway, has been a holiday tradition for over 20 years, traveling across Canada and the United States to raise awareness and donations for local food banks.
The event kicked off with a performance by country music artist Terri Clark, who has been a part of the Holiday Train tour for 12 years. She was joined by fellow musicians Sierra Noble and Kelly Prescott, who entertained the crowd with their lively music and holiday spirit.
In addition to the musical performances, attendees were treated to hot chocolate and snacks, as well as the opportunity to take photos with the train and meet the performers.
