‘Immaculate vibes’ for students’ concrete sled races at Boler Mountain

Real True News

Students at Boler Mountain were treated to a day of exhilarating races as they put their creativity and engineering skills to the test in the annual Concrete Sled Races.

The event, organized by Immaculate Vibes, saw students from various schools in the London area come together to compete in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere.

The rules were simple: each team had to design and build a sled using only concrete and other materials provided by the organizers. The sleds were then put to the test as they raced down the snowy slopes of Boler Mountain.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the students showed great enthusiasm and determination as they raced against each other. The creativity and ingenuity displayed in the design of the sleds were truly impressive, with some teams incorporating unique features such as fins and spoilers to improve their speed and maneuverability.

The races were divided into different categories based on the age and grade level of the participants. The younger students, in grades 4 to 6, competed in the Junior category, while the older students, in grades 7 to 12, competed in the Senior category.

The winners were determined based on a combination of speed, design, and overall performance. The judges, made up of Boler Mountain staff and volunteers, had a difficult time choosing the winners as all the teams put in a tremendous effort.

In the end, the team from St. Mary’s Catholic High School took home the top prize in the Senior category, while the team from St. Jude Catholic Elementary School emerged victorious in the Junior category.

Aside from the races, the event also featured a variety of fun activities for the students, including snow tubing and a hot chocolate bar. It was a great opportunity for the students to bond and make new friends while enjoying the winter weather.

The Concrete Sled Races at Boler Mountain have become a highly anticipated event for students in the London area, promoting teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition. It is a testament to the talent and determination of our youth and a reminder that learning can be fun and exciting.

Immaculate Vibes and Boler Mountain are already looking forward to next year’s event, where they hope to see even more schools and students participate in this unique and thrilling experience.
