Lapu Lapu victim, who lost high school sweetheart, says system failed him

Four people have been transported to hospital following a collision near Toronto’s Forest Hill neighbourhood early Wednesday morning, paramedics say.

The first teenager to be sentenced in the death of a Toronto homeless man will not face further time in custody, and instead participate in a community-based program.

Police warned people in Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement to stay in their homes on Sunday night, lock their doors and call 911 if they see anything suspicious as they investigate a possible active shooter in the area.
