A 71-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after a tragic head-on collision in Newfoundland that claimed the lives of two individuals.

The 71-year-old man was driving eastbound when he collided with a westbound vehicle, resulting in the deaths of a 60-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman.
