Manitoba residents can expect to see continued unsettled weather in the coming days, according to meteorologist Colleen Bready.
Bready, who has been tracking the weather patterns in the province, says that a mix of rain, snow, and strong winds will be present throughout the region.
“Manitoba is in for a bit of a rollercoaster ride when it comes to weather,” Bready said in her forecast.
She explained that a low-pressure system moving in from the west will bring rain and snow to southern Manitoba on Wednesday, with the potential for some areas to see up to 10 cm of snow.
As the system moves eastward, it will bring strong winds to the central and northern regions of the province, with gusts reaching up to 70 km/h.
Bready also warned of potential thunderstorms in the southeastern part of the province on Thursday, with the possibility of hail and strong winds.
The unsettled weather is expected to continue into the weekend, with a mix of rain and snow in the forecast.
Bready advised residents to stay updated on the weather conditions and to take necessary precautions, such as securing loose objects and being cautious while driving.
She also reminded people to dress appropriately for the changing weather and to be mindful of any potential power outages.
While the weather may be unpredictable, Bready assured that her team will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
