The Toronto Blue Jays continue to dominate on the field, securing their fifth win in six games with a 5-4 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The game, which took place at PNC Park on Tuesday night, saw first baseman Daniel Vogelbach drive in two runs to secure the win for the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays started off strong, with designated hitter Randal Grichuk hitting a solo home run in the first inning. However, the Pirates quickly caught up, with catcher Jacob Stallings hitting a two-run homer in the bottom of the first.

The game remained tied until the fifth inning, when Vogelbach hit a two-run double, bringing in Grichuk and shortstop Bo Bichette. The Blue Jays continued to hold onto their lead, with pitcher Ross Stripling allowing only one run in five innings.

The Pirates made a comeback attempt in the ninth inning, with third baseman Erik Gonzalez hitting a two-run homer off of Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano. However, Romano was able to secure the final out, giving the Blue Jays their fifth win in six games.

This win marks the Blue Jays’ third consecutive series victory, as they continue to climb up the standings in the American League East. The team has been on a hot streak since returning to Toronto, winning 10 of their last 13 games.

The Blue Jays will look to continue their winning ways as they face off against the Pirates again on Wednesday night. With their strong performance on the field and a growing fan base, the Blue Jays are proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the MLB.
