Fire on Manitoba First Nation leaves two people dead

Tragedy struck a Manitoba First Nation community as a fire broke out, claiming the lives of two individuals.

According to reports, the fire occurred on the evening of March 14th, at a residence on the First Nation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is believed to have started in the kitchen area.

The two victims, whose identities have not been released, were found inside the home and pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear if they were related or how they were connected to the residence.

The community is in mourning as they come to terms with the loss of their fellow community members. Chief David Crate expressed his condolences and stated that the community is devastated by the tragic event.

The Manitoba First Nation Emergency Management Team, along with the local fire department, responded to the fire and were able to contain it. However, the damage to the home was extensive.
