Detectives from the 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are continuing to investigate this incident. Investigators have now determined the victim was in the area of Merritt Steet and Townline Road East, in the City of St. Catharines when he randomly encountered a group of four men.
