A man who stole a Vancouver police cruiser and hit a cyclist has been arrested and charged, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the suspect, identified as 37-year-old John Doe, allegedly stole a marked police vehicle from the parking lot of the Vancouver Police Department’s headquarters. Doe then drove the cruiser through the city, hitting a cyclist on the way.
